Blackjack Is Like A Roller Coaster
black jack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a roller coaster. It’s a game that begins slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you build up your bank roll, you feel as though you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom collapses.
black jack is so much like a roller coaster the similarities are striking. As is the case with the popular fairground experience, your black jack game will peak and things will seem to be going well for awhile before it bottoms out yet again. Undoubtedly you have to be a gambler who can readjust to the ups … downs of the game simply because the game of blackjack is choked full with them.
If you like the little coaster, a coaster that can’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the rollercoaster ride is with a fatter bet, then hop on for the ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-roller will love the view from the monster wild ride because they are not thinking about the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to flip and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.
If you do not, you will not naturally recount how much you enjoyed the view while your bank roll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, an amazing ride … your head in the sky. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t recall how "high up" you went but you will have memories of that mortifying drop as clear as day.
